2012 Kickoff!

If you missed the 2012 FRC Kickoff you missed a ton of fun!

This years game is called Rebound Rumble, and it is FIRST's take on Basketball. Rules more follow after the break

The game is similar to 2006's Aim High, but as always make sure to read the rules! You can find the rules and all other game documents in the 2012 Game Documents section in the Resources section of this site.

As a surprise, this year FIRST has partnered with FIRST veterans at Diamond Bullet Studios to bring us the first official game simulator Catalyst 2012. To download it you must use our team's account with the following credentials:

The web team will post a walk-though of how to use the simulator soon. Also, next Saturday (1/14/2012) we will have Xbox controllers to play 3v3 simulator matches.

At the meeting we discussed the game and reviewed the rules. We also broke off into smaller teams to decide how we want to play the game. At this stage of design we only want to decide what we want out robot to do, not how it will do it. So keep that in mind and you think of ideas. Also, remember we have forums on this website, with a section for brainstorming, so make use of them! Finally, registration has been temporarily re-enabled, so if you do not have an account you can sign up for one.
